1. What information do we collect and what do we do with it?
When you browse our website, we collect no information about you.
When you signup to purchase an event or Holiday pass, you are asked for your name and email address. This information is handled by our payment and subscription management vendor, Shopify, based in Ottawa, Ontario, Canada. Your name, email address, and payment information are stored by Shopify so that we can send you the login information for your purchased event(s) and you can access the Estate. Your email address is also stored by us so that we can send you periodic updates about upcoming events or other changes to the website.
When paying for content, your credit card information is collected by Shopify and handled by a secure third-party payment-processing company. You can find out more about how Shopify handles information you provide during purchase on the Shopify Privacy Policy website.
2. How do you get my consent?
When you provide us with personal information to purchase an event or Holiday pass, you imply that you consent to our collecting that information and using it for that specific reason. By providing your email address for a transaction, you also imply that you consent to our sending you transaction-related emails such as sales receipts, and periodic updates about upcoming events or other changes to the website.
How do I withdraw my consent?
If you no longer wish to receive periodic update emails, or you would like to withdraw your consent for us to use your personal information for any reason whatsoever, you may withdraw consent at any time by contacting us at info@thesatanic.estate using the email subject line “Privacy Consent”.

We may disclose your personal information if we are required by law to do so or if you violate our Terms of Service.
4. Platform
AWS

Shopify

5. Third-Party Services
The platform vendors mentioned above may engage in partnerships with other third-party vendors to manage things like payment, authentication or security. The use of this website will require the storage of cookies on your computer to track your session and provide you with a smooth, continuous user experience. We do not use cookies for the purpose of tracking for targeted advertising.

Web Analysis Tools
We may use web analysis tools that are built into the platform to measure and collect anonymous viewing information. This information is needed to help us troubleshoot and resolve issues within the Estate when things get too busy or otherwise make general upgrades to the platform to improve the user experience.

We reserve the right to modify this privacy policy at any time, so please review it frequently. Changes and clarifications will take effect immediately upon their posting on the website. If our site or course is acquired or merged with another company, your information may be transferred to the new owners so that we may continue to sell products to you.
